Andrew E. Kossoff General Manager, Ohio State Sports Marketing IMG College In 2009, Andrew E. Kossoff was appointed General Manager for Ohio State Sports Marketing, part of IMG College and the multimedia rights holder for The Ohio State University’s Department of Athletics. As General Manager, Kossoff oversees a team representing the Athletic Department’s corporate sponsorships, signage, on-site marketing, licensed promotions, publishing, radio game play-by-play and coaches’ radio shows, live and delayed television and coaches’ television shows. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Kossoff joined The Ohio State University administration in 2004, and served as Director of Business Development for the Office of Student Life, Jerome Schottenstein Center, and Department of Athletics in the development, marketing, and procurement of over $15 million dollars in annual revenue to the institution. In 2007, Kossoff was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director of Business Development and Merchandise in addition to his management role within the Office of Student Life and the Jerome Schottenstein Center. Prior to joining The Ohio State University, Kossoff served as Vice-President of Hunt Sports Group’s, Major League Soccer Franchise, The Columbus Crew from 2000-2004 where he oversaw the corporate sponsorship, premium hospitality, and media sales. From 1994-2000, Kossoff held positions as Project Manager and Director of Marketing and Sales for Executive Sports International, a Division of Golden Bear International. During his tenure, Kossoff represented various properties on the PGA, Sr. PGA, and LPGA Tours, as well oversight of numerous consumer marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies surrounding, CART Indy Car Series and The Summer Olympic Games. During his tenure with ESI, he was involved with the development, implementation, and execution of the first collegiate personal seat license program that raised $15 million dollars towards the creation of The Jerome Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University. |
