Kim Bucci Shelton was named General Manager of the University of Kentucky property in 2009 after serving in the Director of Sponsorship Sales and Account Executive positions since 2003.

Shelton began working for Host Communications in 1999 as the Director of Client Development for the Publishing Division. After serving in multiple roles in the Publishing and Events Division of the Company, Shelton entered the Collegiate Division in 2003 as an Account executive for Big Blue Sports Marketing.

Prior to Shelton’s career at IMG College, she served as the Chicago Venue Coordinator for the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Shelton’s University of Kentucky roots run deep as she was a member of the UK women’s soccer team from 1992-1996. Following her playing career she served as the Assistant Coach for her alma mater.

Shelton is an honors graduate of the University of Tennessee (B.S. 1996, MBA 1998).
