David Bertram, Vice President, National Properties for IMG College, has been with the company since 1999. In those ten years, he has worked in various roles out of the Lexington, Kentucky office. Bertram was promoted in November 2008 to his current role overseeing the national collegiate properties division; he also continues to serve as the Executive Director for NCAA Football USA, Inc.

Bertram's primary role is to provide strategic oversight to all of IMG College's national properties including: the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), NCAA Football, the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame (NFF), the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), the John R. Wooden Award, the Bowl Championship Series and EA Sports. In this capacity, he collaborates with each property to monetize commercial assets while always giving consideration to the organization's mission and objectives. Additionally, he works with IMG's National Sales and Business Development teams to develop national partnership opportunities at major universities across the country where IMG College holds the licensing and multi-media rights.

Prior to moving to the college sports marketing division, Bertram worked within the events group managing tradeshows, conventions and special events for associations and corporations.

Bertram currently sits on the Boards for NCAA Football USA, Inc., the University of Kentucky Sports Marketing Academy and the Bluegrass State Games; he also serves in an advisory capacity to the Lexington chapter of the American Heart Association.

Having been influenced by several outstanding mentors, Bertram makes every effort to impart what he has learned to students that aspire to work in the sports marketing industry. In this capacity, he has lectured at the University of Kentucky, Northern Kentucky University and for Junior Achievement.

Bertram earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Sports Administration from the University of Kentucky and while in graduate school served as an intern in the University of Kentucky's Athletic Department.
